Tony was such a kind man. He always had time for everyone, no matter what was going on. On the football field the lads could have been losing badly but we would always hear Tony shouting from the sidelines, "Come on Connolly's, we can won this!!" And when they won, he was the proudest man that ever lived!
One time I arrived at the Pairc, dangerously low on petrol and without my purse. I told Tony who immediately produced money from his pocket so that I could get back home safely. (I reimbursed him ASAP) Another time, our son Jake, went home with him one time after football as we couldn't get there in time and there was Tony sharing his dinner with Jake when we went to collect him. Tony, you were the salt of the earth and you have left and indelible imprint on the life of my family. God Bless you Tony, you were so loved by everyone who knew you. xx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
